The Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (SCTL), which has of late witnessed a spate of exits at various positions, recently took the decision to constitute a project implementation unit (PIU) and empanel independent consultants at additional cost disregarding the decision of the previous board meetings. The board meeting held in March had approved a decision to empanel consultants to provide handholding support to the SCTL and seven independent consultants were recruited for civil, electrical and legal and HR departments.
