Amazon Web Services, subsidiary of e-commerce giant Amazon Inc., on Wednesday said it has trained over 2 million individuals in skills linked to myriad areas of cloud computing, ever since introducing its first such programme in India in 2017. It has worked with government-aided bodies, educational institutes and corporate organizations to achieve this milestone, which has included first-time learners and mid-career professionals alike.
Support Programme for Urban Reforms (SPUR)
National Skills Development Corporation Limited (NSDC), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of IndiaWorking with the Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Bihar; targeting 28 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) covering 7.05 million urban population. The DFID supported ‘Support Programme for Urban Reforms’ (SPUR) in Bihar focused on economic growth and urban poverty reduction through improved economic attractiveness of project ULBs for private investments.
