A flagship scheme of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India (GoI), Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was a short-term training cum skill certification scheme implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). PMKVY enabled large number of Indian youths to take up industry-relevant skill training and certification which eventually helped them in securing a better and sustainable livelihood. This project focused on conducting a baseline, on behalf of the National Skill Development Corporation for all states and UTs in India on the components (& subcomponents) of the State Incentive Grant Matrix.
